Easter Exhibition
Every child was challenged to make something for our Easter Exhibition. The children have been busy making Easter Bonnets, Easter gardens, decorated baskets and Easter bunny pictures. We displayed them all in our gallery and invited everyone to our Easter Exhibition. We think you will agree that it looks fantastic!
Book Week
We celebrated Book Week with a variety of different activities and events. We enjoyed meeting a real life author and illustrator, we had a day of activities with the Junior School and we heard stories and poems from around the world. On Thursday it was World Book Day and we all came into school dressed as a book character - even the teachers dressed up. Pocahontos came in especially to lead our assembly. Can you guess who we all are?
Traversing Wall
We are so excited to have a new piece of play equipment in the playground. It is a traversing wall and as well as being great fun it is helping us to develop strong muscles in our arms. Thank you to FORIS who have provided the funds.
The Banana Tree Project
Mrs Byrne's son, Harry and his friend Alex came in to talk to us about a charity project they are involved with based in Tanzania. One of the things they are raising money for is the development of Buswelu Primary School. We are thinking about ways that we can support this in our classes and are looking forward to finding out more from the website.
