Haiti fundraising
The school council wanted to raise money to support the victims of the Haiti earthquake. Eden said "all the people are injured and over 100,000 have died". Ellie commented on the little boy found alive after 8 days. We decided to have a non-uniform day and call it "Our Haiti Day". Everyone wore casual clothes and brought in a donation and altogether we raised £682.73 - a fantastic amount that will help make a difference to people's lives.
Winners of Redbourn In Bloom 2009
We are very proud to announce that we were awarded first place in the Redbourn In Bloom Schools Category 2009. Many thanks and congratulations to Mrs Fairclough and everyone in the Nursery who have all worked very hard in their garden this year.
